| A quick visit home to Kuala Lumpur to renew my IC meant a few reunions with old friends and a sneaky week away in Penang for some R&R ! Wonderful... |

CAMPING & CYCLING NEAR CAP FERRET
At Les Viviers campsite - Chris loading
up the tandem with picnic and swim-stuff. Our tent and 'living
area' in the background.

'Twas cloudy, to be sure, but
we did have the entire beach to ourselves, and the sun did come
out shortly afterwards (honest!). |
| The cycle paths meandered for
miles through pine forests of differing maturity levels - always
quiet, peaceful and generally FLAT! |

We cycled to Cap Ferret to
find ourselves on the most amazing coastline looking out at Arcachon
- the largest sand-dune in the world. You can just make it out
in the distance. |
| So, pleasantly relaxed, and
having cycled some 15 to 20 miles a day, we concluded that we
must be fit and ready to join the Chain Gang on a six-day cycling
tour of the Dordogne Valley. |
